Slides

Summary: Contains 35 mm slides of Schapiro's artwork, exhibits, residencies, classes, travel, family, and important individuals she was acquainted with. Slides also contains collected slides that are arranged by subject matter or by artist last name. In line with other feminist artists, Schapiro collected slides of women's artwork both historical and contemporary in order to combat ignorance of women artists. It was a common theme in Schapiro's work to pay homage to women artists, and collecting their work was yet another way of paying homage.
