Red ink drawing on white board of an elaborate structure, possibly lichen, with fungus. Line patterns, as per the intricacy of the design, are employed throughout the drawing. While there is no explicit background, there is a large amount of space on the sides that create a natural equivalent; no wider space appears to exist. Partial draft sketch on verso.

While there are elaborate shadows on the ground, no other background exists. There are penciled notes referring to adjustments in size to be made in a later version or printing of the piece. Scope and Contents: Lubell 3/4: 138 Ink and wash drawing (with watercolor) of various children on a playground. As just an ink drawing, with no coloration, the figures' bodies are pleasantly cartoonish, with lines used for definition and character. Color is only used sparsely to highlight some of the children, and a greyish-blue watercolor sheen is used on the edges and middle of the picture. Scope and Contents: Lubell 3/4: 139 Ink and wash drawing (with watercolor and [pastel?]) of a family at a table. While food is there – a woman is pouring milk, and there is fruit on a centerpiece bowl – the actual plates are empty. As is much of the actual detail; the markers separating the walls and floor are only half-done shadings, the woman only has some borders and her colors just fade out, and details get increasingly shady the further they get from the table at the center. Like many of the pieces here, the inks make exaggerated but pleasing caricatures (with some cases, such as the man's exceptionally veiny feet).
