Scope and Contents
Lubell 3/4: 138
Ink and wash drawing (with watercolor) of various children on a playground. As just an ink drawing, with no coloration, the figures' bodies are pleasantly cartoonish, with lines used for definition and character. Color is only used sparsely to highlight some of the children, and a greyish-blue watercolor sheen is used on the edges and middle of the picture. A frame in ink and yellow has been painted around the scene. Signed W. Milius. Drawn on illustration board. . Lubell 138-146 are of similar subjects and dates, with the medium for some focusing more on watercolor and others more on line drawings in pen or graphite pencil.
