The Leonard Dalton Abbott papers span the period from 1933 to 1953. The collection mainly consists of correspondence. Abbott kept copies of letters he sent, letters from Alexander Harvey, and correspondence between himself and Anna Strunsky Walling. The Abbott papers also include socialist publications, notes and essays written by Abbott among other miscellaneous items. The collection is small, approximately .3 cubic feet.
Dr. Leslie A. Stauber attended Rutgers as a student and later returned as a professor of zoology. He was prominent in the fields of zoology and microbiology and served on many boards and committees both within and outside of the university community. This collection contains his papers and his personal and professional correspondence along with photographs.
This collection contains correspondence, research materials, and articles for the Jazz Record. There is correspondence with Chippie Hill, Omer Simeon, and George Lewis. The collection includes a pencil sketch drawing of a jazz band, discographical information on Big Bill Broonzy, and articles written by Warren Dodds, George Lewis, Eaton, and Rocky Clark.
This is Linda Kuehl's unpublished biography of Billie Holiday.
