Scope and Contents
This series includes information about non-exhibition special programs and events held by NAWA. This includes fundraising events, such as the annual gala event, as well as educational events, luncheons, and symposiums. The majority of the material in this series date from around 1970 on, though there is limited material from earlier events from the 1930s.
Types of documents within this series include planning information, programs, and photographs.
For material related to events that were held in relation to exhibitions, please see the Shows and Exhibition Series. For material related to NAWA meetings, including member meetings, please also see the Meetings, Minutes, and Reports sub-series in the Administrative Records series. While there is some material on member meetings within this series, they are linked to events such as New Member Induction Ceremonies.
