Abstract:

The collection consists of about 500 limited edition fine and private press books comprising literature, poetry, bibliographies and works on private presses, typography and the graphic arts, most illustrated with wood engravings, lithographs or etchings. The collection includes imprints from the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden and Hungary.

Scope and Contents:

This collection contains thirteen instantaneous disc test pressings for Savoy Records. Included in these records are commercially released sessions by Kai Winding; Hank Jones with Kenny Clarke and Al McKibbon; Richard Wyands with Roy Haynes and Al McKibbon; and Cal Tjader. Also included among the discs are three unissued Sanford Gold sessions.

Abstract:

Tommy Benford drum set and papers (1937-1992) consists of one linear foot of personal papers housed in three archival boxes (one document box and two flat boxes). Included are letters to Benford, manuscript notes, ephemera, broadsides, clippings, travel memorabilia, drum set, and photographs.

Scope and Contents:

This collection contains personal memorabilia and Parenti's collection of vintage stock music arrangements. The stock arrangements range from 1899 to 1927. The personal memorabilia includes music catalogs, jazz publications, discographies, festival programs, and press excerpts. Also included are music manuscripts and sketches.

Scope and Contents:

This collection contains 770 scores including holograph arrangements by Neil Hefti, Ralph Sharon, Spud Murphy, Robert Farnon, and Al Cohn. The music includes both handwritten and professionally copied scores along with commercial sheet music. Many songs with lyrics are stamped with the name "Tony Bennett."

Also included in this collection are a few personal photographs, business papers, and a Tony Bennett show rundown.
