Administrative records that document the founding and early development of the New Jersey College of Pharmacy. Established in 1892 in Newark, the school slowly evolved until it became incorporated into Rutgers University in 1927. Included are records dating from 1892 through 1942
The New Jersey Collection includes a significant body of New Jersey cookbooks written and compiled by various local and regional groups active throughout the state during the twentieth century, with post-World War II publications constituting its most active area of development.
Minute book of the New Jersey Editorial Association documenting meetings between 1857-1880. The book is filled with newspaper clippings, pamphlets, and other ephemeral works from the same time period that are related to the New Jersey Editorial Association.
This two cubic foot collection consists of records of the training programs of the Family Service Division of the New Jersey Emergency Relief Administration, beginning with the appointment of Dr. Emma Schreiber as Director (November 1933) to NJERA's dissolution by legislative enactment in July of 1936. Though the collection contains some published materials and case files which date as early as 1928, the bulk of the records capture the years 1934-1935 in the training effort.
The New Jersey Ephemera Collection consists of miscellaneous printed materials and contains close to 40,000 items. Items are arranged by type.
Records of the New Jersey Federation of Business and Professional Women that include minutes of the board and committees, reports of officers and committee chairwomen, by-laws, financial statements and records, membership rosters and charters of local clubs.
