Autobiography that includes several items (portions of documents, complete letters and two silhouettes) pasted into the volume. The silhouettes present depict the writer's spouse, the Rev. Jonathan Cogswell, and her daughter, Jane Emily Cogswell.
The Janet Indick Papers document Indick's career as a New Jersey painter and sculptor. They contain records relating to awards, fellowships, exhibitions, donation and sale of artworks, publicity and press materials, and artistic organizations. Types of materials include correspondence, exhibition catalogs, applications, donation agreements, fliers, pamphlets, postcards, newsletters, and magazines. The collection highlights Indick's identity as a Jewish artist and as a woman artist.
This collection contains twelve audiocassettes of the radio documentary program on Coleman Hawkins.
Theatrical papers reflecting the career of actor Jerry Cunliffe, especially his work with director Tom O'Horgan and La Mama E.T.C. Materials represented include resumes, contracts, scripts, music, theatrical posters, programs, reviews, photographs and other papers.
This collection includes 272 metal vinyl molds, seventy-one open reel tapes, and four audio disks. The open reel tapes are primarily recordings of radio broadcasts by performers including Stan Kenton and Max Roach. The metal vinyl molds are mostly related to the activities of the Meritt Record Society (Valburn's record label) which was founded in 1979 and focused on reissues of early jazz releases.
