Scope and Contents: This collection contains papers, commercial lead sheets, song books, and audio recordings. The recordings include four reels, two audio discs, and one cassette. The papers consist of business correspondence, as well as papers related to Gabler's membership in the New York Sheet Music Society and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Miriam Dinerman served in the Rutgers University School of Social Work as a professor from 1960 to 1999, and continued to teach until 2008. This collection holds numerous drafts and published articles by Dinerman as well as legal documentation for the journal Affilia: Journal of Women and Social Work, notes, and correspondence throughout and after her career at Rutgers.

Scope and Contents:

This collection contains photographs of jazz musicians by the photographer, Mitchell Seidel. Notable performers photographed within this collection include Art Blakey, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, Freddie Hubbard, Philly Joe Jones, members of the Marsalis family, and George Duvivier. Also of note in this collection are images of Thelonious Monk's funeral, as well as, photographs of the Newport Jazz Festival and Kool Jazz Festival (1977-1988).

Abstract: The records of the Mohegan Colony Association document the community's origin as the Mohegan Colony, an anarchist community founded in 1923 by progressive leader and anarchist Harry Kelly. Founded in the area of Mohegan Lake in Westchester County, New York, the community emerged from the Ferrer colony in Stelton, New Jersey.
