Scope and Contents:

This collection contains twenty-eight 11x14 black-and-white photographic prints of jazz musicians. There is one 8x10 print as well. The photographs include studio portraits, live performances, and candid photographs of musicians including Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, Gil Evans, Sonny Rollins, Ornette Coleman, and Cecil Taylor.
