Scope and Contents
In September 2006, a joint undertaking of the Burlington County Superior Court and the Burlington County Bar Association was initiated. This project sought to capture the rich legal history of Burlington County by conducting interviews with the most tenured judges, lawyers, and court staff who had worked and practiced in the county over the years. Interview transcripts are available for all files in the collection, while most (but not all) also contain a DVD recording of the interview.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
New Jersey Superior Court, Burlington Vicinage. Most interviews were sent to SC/UA via Jude Del Preore, Trial Court Administrator and the project coordinator for the Burlington County Bench/Bar Oral History Project. Starting in 2020, interviews were sent by Alba R. Rivera, Trial Court Adminstrator.
