Scope and Contents: Lubell 441 Painted plywood block with oval image. Hindu eight-armed goddess [Sarasvati] riding on a bird (Garuda?), and holding a trident, a shell, a lotus flower and a tambourine. Colors: predominantly yellows and black. Lubell 442

One inch thick cut butcher block. Women wearing tiered [Cretan? Sumerian?] skirts and necklaces or scarves. One seated under a tree, holding flowers, the others standing before her offering flowers. “Maple” written in pen on the lower edge. Colors: green, blue, red and yellow. Scope and Contents: Lubell 445 Cut plywood blocks with uncut strip and pencil drawings on verso. Title on side edge reads “Harpies,” title written in ink on verso reads “The Snatchers, Harpies and Sirens.” Also, in pencil on verso “The Snatchers.” Front, on uncut strip has notations, much of which are illegible, “Harpies, 53,… E.H.
