Cut plywood blocks with uncut strip and pencil drawings on verso. Title on side edge reads “Harpies,” title written in ink on verso reads “The Snatchers, Harpies and Sirens.” Also, in pencil on verso “The Snatchers.” Front, on uncut strip has notations, much of which are illegible, “Harpies, 53,… E.H. [Pr…go…?] p. 177-250, [APETTYIA?] apeπia, The Snatchers, Harpies & Sirens.” Four bordered blocks, each with a winged, bird-clawed female harpy figure, two flying and holding children, two standing with wings outstretched.
