The Harry B. Weiss Chapbook Collection comprises some 880 chapbooks dating from the late 18th through the mid 19th Centuries, as well as a selection of peripheral material. These chapbooks represent the collecting interests of Harry B. Weiss, and focus on British and, to a lesser extent, American chapbooks, with other examples from Germany, Italy and Mexico.
Approximately 200 folders contain items such as: manuscripts of lectures and published material by Kantor; correspondence with Romulo Betancourt, Juan Bosch, Jose Figueres, Victor Raul Haya de la Torre, and other prominent Latin American politicians; photographs and political party flags; and scholarship on countries including Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, and Uruguay.

The collection contains both published and unpublished writings of Helmut von Erffa as well as correspondence to and from professor von Erffa concerning his research. In addition, the collection contains typescripts for an unpublished monograph on Benjamin West.
Written and photographic documentation of over 2,600 individual quilts and related administrative records of the statewide project which gathered the data. The quilt documentation portion of the records incorporates information on 258 quilts from a separate Hunterdon County quilt search, 1997-1999, which used the same documentation standard as the broader effort.
