This scrapbook contains clippings, photographs, and correspondence related to Catherine Basie and her civic and charitable work, photographs of Catherine Basie as Princess Aloha, photographs of the Basie family, materials from Diane Basie's baby book, and personal correspondence.

Scrapbooks are closed for use, but digital access copies of all scrapbooks are available on site at the Institute of Jazz Studies, with the exception of the “Dad and Ma” scrapbook, which has not yet been digitized. Please contact the Institute for more information.
