This scrapbook contains clippings assembled by Burrelle's Press Clipping Service about Count Basie and the Count Basie Orchestra, including Count Basie's dispute with the Music Corporation of America, and news and reviews of his performances and recordings.

Scrapbooks are closed for use, but digital access copies of all scrapbooks are available on site at the Institute of Jazz Studies, with the exception of the “Dad and Ma” scrapbook, which has not yet been digitized. Please contact the Institute for more information.
