Scope and Contents
Series 3 includes books, drawings, correspondence, datebooks, and ephemera related to Diane Basie, the extended Basie family, and Basie family friends. Of note are Diane Basie’s baby book from 1944 to 1945 and childhood savings book, Lamont Gilmore’s naval papers, and a humorous to-do list (undated) composed by Aaron Woodward III for himself and Catherine Basie.
