Scope and Contents:
Includes correspondence regarding his officer's commission, celestial navigation and requirements for Army Air Force navigators. Most letters are from the period of March 1944 to December 1945, but some date from the late 1940s and relate to his service in the Air Force Reserves. Also included here is a celestial navigation training aid entitled, "Sky Diagrams 1944 May-August."
