Arrangement: Consultation Files are divided into two subseries: Government and Legal. Both are arranged into sub-subseries and are arranged chronologically.

Summary: Tiger was involved in the Presidential Commission on the Assignment of Women in the Armed Forces and has kept the transcripts of meetings and interviews as well as the final report. Additionally, he acted as a consultant for the Department of Defense covering a wide array of subjects including al Qaeda, global security, and global terrorism. Furthermore, Tiger was hired as an expert witness for criminal trials in the 1980s due to his extensive knowledge in social anthropology.
