Scope and Contents

Arrangement: The Correspondence Files are arranged chronologically.

Summary: The individuals and organizations with whom Tiger corresponded are extremely varied. One single person does not stand out as having had recurring communication with Tiger. Frequently, Tiger responded to individuals who expressed interest in his work or requested copies of his writings. Additionally, he regularly communicated with organizations requesting his presence or participation in speaking engagements and events. The purpose and topics of the correspondence reflect Tiger's various interests, relationships, and responsibilities and span over five decades. Additional correspondence is found in Writings and Manuscripts Files, the Man and Beast Revisited subseries, and in Consultation Files, Legal Consultation subseries.
