Scope and Contents
Summary: The subseries "Class Roll Books," includes course titles/numbers and names and attendance of enrolled students. The "Teaching Materials and Notes," files include course lecture material, lecture notes, syllabi, class lists, term paper topics, assignments, reading lists, final exams, test questions and instructions from the following classes: Junior Honors Seminars (e.g., the Study of New Brunswick Elite, 1870 from the 1971 seminars), History of American Politics, and New Jersey History. Sample index card census data from the years 1860, 1870, and 1880, which related to the material in Box 48, Folders 4 and 5 are found in boxes 99 and 100. Also included in the New Jersey History class material is a copy of a chapter written by McCormick for a never completed cooperative history book (Lenders Cooperative History Project).

Arrangement: This series is divided into two subseries, A. Class Roll Books and B. Teaching Materials and Notes. Subseries A is arranged chronologically; subseries B is arranged alphabetically by course title and further arranged chronologically within course titles.
