Cut veneer woodblock board with lowered strip at bottom. Title on one of the long side edges reads “Pear Blossom” and on the bottom edge reads “Pear.” Flowering pear branch with two butterflies. Scope and Contents: Lubell 474 Woodblock carved on one side and cut on the other. Title on top side edge of block reads “Pear + Wasps.” Cut side image is of two wasps walking on a grouping of three pears. The fruit is on a tile square pattern (maybe a picnic blanket?), and autumnal fallen leaves can be seen in the background. Colors: black wasps, yellow and green.
