Scope and Contents: Lubell 6/11: 93a-c Black and white [engraving or linocut] print of Sumerian fertility goddess and the Biblical quasi-demonic figure, likely to emphasize similarities in the identities of early historical female deities. Black and white cut Masonite print of the Egyptian goddess (whose realms include joy, fertility, and femininity), who forms a vine halo around multiple other deities. Mostly their identities are unclear, but a cat-headed one is likely a reference to Bast (with whom Hathor was often identified). See woodblock, Hathor (Lubell 447, Box 26).
