Two etchings in color variants. Town rising on a hill from sea cliffs, with a small harbor with boats in the lower left. Arched openings and tile roofs on several buildings. Hill in far distance. Ross 99a, a 1st State Proof, is in black and white Heavy cream-colored paper. Ross 99b, an Artist’s Proof, is on cream-colored paper in pinks, ochers and olive green, with a black strip of water at the lower edge.
