Scope and Contents
This subseries includes material on NAWA shows that are considered to be Single Venue. That is to say, the shows represented here are held within the territories of the United States and were intended to be shown in one venue during a specific time frame, and not travel to further venues.
This series includes material dating from the 1920s and 1940s, but the bulk of the material dates from 1963 through the 2020s. Each exhibition is identified by the year the exhibition took place, the title of the exhibition, the gallery where the exhibition was held, and the location.
The type of material that can be found in this series includes pamphlets, press and promotional material for the exhibition, planning documents, prospectuses, photographs, slides, artist information, correspondence, guest books, and sales and/or financial information.

Material is primarily in English. Other languages present include French, Greek, Hindu, Italian, Arabic, Chinese, Russian.
