Corlies, Benjamin Woolley (1797–1883) Eatontown, Monmouth County, correspondence, 1810–1815

Benjamin Woolley Corlies was born on 9 February 1797, a son of Britton Corlies (born 1738) and Sarah Woolley (1757–1833). He married on 14 December 1820 to Miriam T. Williams (1798–1876), daughter of Tylee Williams (1768–1828) and Elizabeth Hartshorne (1771–1849). It should be noted that their eldest son, Henry Corlies (1821–1910) married Mary Hendrickson (1825–1898), sister to William Henry Hendrickson (1813–1899) and Sarah Ann Hendrickson Schenck (1816–1843), whose papers are described above in box 3, folders 33 and 34.
