Scope and Contents

Summary: These letters are mostly in reference to financial and business matters. There is one from his son Joseph C. Thompson about the sale of a farm from October 15, 1835. There are several letters from Lewis and Joseph Gordan about the payments of some notes. There is also a letter from Wayne Lausbury about the payment of a late note. In addition there is part of an undated unsigned letter about the death of a horse sold by William.
