Cut [maple] plywood block with uncut strip. Face of board, in uncut strip reads “Maple” on the left and “Nü-Kua” on the right. Title on side edge of board reads “Nui Kua.” Two main figures (Chinese mythological creation figures of forefather and foremother of humans?) with intertwined fish/serpent tails, floating above water, facing in opposite directions, wearing Chinese garb, and holding unidentified implements. Four other similar figures floating in the sky, two with wings and two without. Bird-like figures with curled [wings} and tails gloat below the other figures. Colors: blue and red.
