Carved woodblock with nailed-on [handle?]. Punch and Judy facing and maybe confronting each other. Some of the details, such as Punch's now-massive stomach and the way that Judy's legs appear to be so twisted that they have broken off, gives the piece a more sinister air. The barest outline and details of a puppet hanging in the background can also be seen. Colors: black, pinks and reds, traces of yellow and white.
