Scope and Contents
Summary: Schapiro studied printmaking at the University of Iowa under Mauricio Lasanky. Lasanky taught his students to use multiple printing techniques in one print in order to create a more complex image and to solve art problems creatively. However, it seems as though her prints after Iowa were usually one type. Prints that had fabric added to them have been classified as Femmages. The assignment of the names of types of prints is tentative, since there is some variation between museums and other professionals. Includes digitally printed artworks.
