Photocopies, original woodcut, cut-outs and altered photocopies of images, which appear to have been either used or considered to illustrate the book. Many of the images have captions and many have notations on sources, changes to be made on the image, potential placement in manuscript or replacement alternatives. Also in the file are a copy of an article showing a photograph of an artifact that was ultimately not used and the photocopy of a newspaper headline of a book on women’s psychology. Originally, the first part of a larger, untitled folder without a clear organizing principle.
