Woodblock print in yellow, black, green and blue, of a boy pictured from the waist up, holding a stem with a leaf. The background is thin, vertical lines that could suggest the tall grass of the title. 311a-d are identified as proofs and have minor color variations, some with white paint covering unwanted lines. 311e&f are titled and signed W. Milius ’53. These two prints move the color of the boy’s shirt to a shade with more blue than green and color red-brown the leaf held by the boy.
