Lubell 8/6: 284a-c

Two black ink woodblock prints of the eight-armed Hindu goddess Sarasvati riding the mythical bird Garuda while holding the reins, a lotus, unknown object (pestle? bell?), trident, tambourine, conch shell and [the tail of the bird?]. The final hand is held up, palm facing forward. A garland or vine forms a border on the bottom and left sides. Print 284b is titled and signed Winifred Milius Lubell. Print 284c is titled Sarasvati Astride Garuda and signed Winifred Milius Lubell. Prints Lubell 82a-b and Lubell 284a-c appear to be from the same block.
