Lubell 8/5: 283a-d
Four, primarily black and white, woodblock prints of a seated woman, wearing a crown and holding a rabbit, with a gentle lion, long-haired goat/sheep, turtle and birds. Greek letters in upper left corner transliterate to Potnia Theron. 283a has pink coloring on the principal figures and as a frame around the image, as well as white coloring covering some of the details and pencil-drawn flowers in the lower left corner. See Lubell 282a-e, which have a similar subject.
Sizes vary slightly, but are in the range of 30.9 x 24.4 cm, with the exception of 283b, which measures 30.4 x 20.8 cm.
Images measure approximately 18 x 13 cm, with the exception of 283a, which measures 20.8 x 15.1 cm due to the painted frame.
