Lubell 7/10: 271a-d

Woodblock prints. Four reproductions of an image of Punch, standing aloft, and triumphant over the Skeleton, who himself sits atop a group of discarded puppets, wearing a wreath and beating a drum. Punch's right eye is a notable black, in contrast to the red coloration on the rest of his body. Lubell 271a is titled Punch as Phoenix, matted, and signed Winifred Lubell. Lubell 271c is titled Puppets and signed Winifred Milius Lubell. Lubell 271a-c are black and white with Punch colored in reddish orange, while the Punch of Lubell 271d is colored in dark red.
