Lubell 7/6: 194a-g
Eight black and white woodcut prints of a boy selling newspapers, surrounded by three men, one of whom is buying a paper, one of whom is reading his paper and one of whom is about to buy. Lubell 194a is numbered #10, printed on very thin rice paper and signed W. Milius. The others are not identified and are, for the most part, printed on somewhat heavier rice paper. These were in a folder with a sheet labelled: "(3) For Spain '36, for a portfolio of drawings and prints to Spanish Civil War relief exhibition." For woodblock, see [Newsboy] (Lubell 465, Box 30).
