Lubell 7/5: 189a-c

Three black and white lithograph prints depicting in intense shadows a man embracing a woman while looking in concern at a second woman behind him. The latter's eyes are not seen, while the man's are expressive. The second woman has her hand on the pole of a flag. There is a notation on each: “Winifred Milius Lubell 1936, one of 4 remaining edition lithograph on zinc plate.” Lubell 189a is untitled, numbered “2” and signed W. Milius. Lubell 189b and 189c are titled, numbered “3” and “4” respectively, and signed Winifred Milius.
