Lubell 6/9: 84a-b
Colored white line woodcut print of an arrangement of small statues and fetish dolls of various female deities. Shapes, materials (specifically represented by color), and degree of naturalism are all distinct. Roughly half of the figures have heads. Colors – yellows, reds, and greys, along with a green background – appear similar to a wash. A red border surrounds the piece. Signed Winifred Milius Lubell. Print 84b is titled Goddess Variants- 27,000 – 2,000 B.C., with the title Pantheon written in the lower right margin.
