Ink drawing of an elaborate, meticulous representation of a lichen. While many branches on the lichen are drawn, and some parts (particularly near the bottom) are shaded, individual branches are somewhat Spartan in detail. Shading is done through both crossed lines and dot patterns, and there is no background or larger context. Signed Winifred Lubell. Piece was removed from matting and a photocopy of writing from the mat verso is included in the folder.
