Scope and Contents
Lubell 2/4: 31
Ink and wash drawing of a group of buildings, possibly all part of a single property. Watercolor wash coloring is used loosely, giving the piece a more energetic, less concrete design, while the black ink outlines used for the “man-made” structures are (a little) more specific. A single person, seen from afar, is placed in the center of the image, and his design is similarly both detailed (his shirt has a pattern) and vague (he is drawn from back, and the actual design is unspecific). Drawn on a page torn from an artist’s sketchbook.
