Attending the contest which has been moved to New Haven. Nothing will satisfy them less than opening all your ports to their vessels. Colden will be detained here for some time. Our consel is to be heard before the Legislature tomorrow. Postscript, One of evidences of monopoly they say they have here is that Gibbons has furnished them with the whole plan (sinking fund and all) of the North River Company which he has from the best authority, that must be Mr. L. who had it no doubt from Mr--(sic.)
