Dividend of $8. declared and checks for Albany proprietors enclosed. Receipts of the boats last month exceeds those of same month last year upwards of 50%. Statement of gross earnings given. Recommend something be done at the dock at the Island, let the Commodore remain over one trip and attend to it. Mr. Livingston wishes the line to be arranged so that a boat may depart every day from each place, proposes having a tender to attend the Chancellor at Albany. Shall ascertain if we cannot hire the Atlanta as she is now idle.
