Scope and Contents

Comment upon satisfactory running of boats, the good season, the business travellers. Comment upon R.L.L's. inclination to sell the 100 shares in hands of the committee with reason for opposing that suggestion. Request that the boats take one-third to one-half their wood supply from Albany as yard here is being deplete with request that Smith take down the wood and see that the Captain and Engineers secure it on board. Last week 335 cartmen's loads were supplied the three boats out of the New York yards.
