Ross 3/7 - 107a-f
Six lithographs in black and gray. Town with two tall towers, seen through a window. The shutter of the window is detailed but the houses of the town are shown in simple angles and planes. Ross 107a-c are proofs: P/1, P/2, and P/3. Ross 107d-f, 2/7, 3/7 and 7/7 are titled and dated. Cream-colored paper. Four prints are signed John Ross. Included with the prints was a sheet containing notes, including “Litho, Italy, 1950, Blk Wht Proofs, ‘5/7’ [to] Yale, San Gimignano.” A photocopy of that sheet is included with the prints.
