Two woodcuts in black and white. The head and shoulders of two helmeted knights, eyes visible only through slits, one facing forward and one to the left. One mailed hand is also visible. A thicket of possibly spears and pennants forms the background. 6/15 and 10/15. Cream-colored Japanese paper. Signed John Ross. Part of an armored knight series that includes prints Envoy, Heroes, The Leader and Sentry (Ross, 86, 88, 90 and 92, Box 6, Folders 1-3), as well as five untitled drawings (Ross 71-75, Box 2, Folder 9).
