Scope and Contents
Various sizes, ranging from 3 ¾ x 3 ¾ inches to 5 ½ x 9 ¼ inches. From folder labeled “Fran Calligraphy – Small Quotes.” Calligraphy quotes and words, some signed. Some appear to be drafts, with handwritten drafting, style, other notes or practice letters. One, dated January 17, 1950 is inscribed on verso: “This was student work – w/Paul Standard – not bad!” Folder has 51 examples.
