In Archives at Rutgers, users can view name records to see all of the collections created by a person, family, or organization. Name records are shared across all libraries and repositories at Rutgers, and staff choose them from controlled lists, including the Library of Congress.

This collection includes handwritten music manuscripts, printed scores, and lead sheets. Among the manuscripts are forty-eight handwritten transcriptions by Sultanoff of arrangements by Gil Evans, Gerry Mulligan, Mary Lou Williams, Benny Carter, Bill Hollman, Tadd Dameron, Neil Hefti, Bob Brookmeyer, Gil Fuller, Manny Albam, and Al Cohn.
