George Howes Whittle, Associate Arts Editor for Century and Saint Nicholas magazines, and one of the engravers loosely known as the New American School of Wood Engraving. This is a collection he assembled of wood engraving tools and a visor, ascribed to engraver Timothy Cole, and wood blocks prepared for engraving, as well as a photocopied article on Timothy Cole written by George Howes Whittle.
