Scope and Contents:

This collection contains printed scores for Barrelhouse Piano Concerto Barrelhouse and Jazz Sonata for Piano, Chamber Ensemble and Two Voices, 12 Piano Rags in Classic Rag Style, Piano Concerto # 5, Trio Sonata for Viola,Double Bass and Piano, Trio Sonata for Clarinet, French Horn and Piano, Sonata for Flute and Piano. There is a copy ofThe Art of Blues and Barrelhouse Piano Improvisation. Also included are nine audiocassettes of Blumenfeld's compositions.

Abstract:

Abbey Lincoln music, papers, and audiovisual recordings contains a range of materials collected and created by Ms. Lincoln herself over the course of her life including scores, photographs, collected writings, business and personal files. All of these evidence her personal and professional endeavors as well as her continuous evolution as an artist.

Scope and Contents:

The Robison Collection consists of 63 longer Hebrew manuscripts that were donated to Rutgers by Adolf C. Robison in 1964. Descriptions of these manuscripts compiled by Professor Leon A. Feldman of the Rutgers Department of Hebraic Studies and Morris Lutzki are available in PDF form. The National Library of Israel sponsored the digitization of this collection.

Scope and Contents: Partial records, 1928-1950, of the Affiliated Schools for Workers (from 1940 the American Labor Education Service) which coordinated the activities of several summer schools for workers, together with incomplete records, 1921-1951, of several of the schools. The largest part of the collection consists of records--chiefly syllabi, other curricular materials, administrative files and photographs--of the Bryn Mawr Summer School for Women Workers in Industry, 1921-1939. The collection consists of 59 works by the artist Al Blaustein (1924-2004), including 5 paintings, 48 drawings and four prints. Also included is a sketchbook of drawings, a catalog of the artist’s late works, the artist’s inventory records for many of the library’s holdings and photo images of the works in the collection.
