Abstract:
The papers of John K. Medoff document the business, academic, and civic affairs he was involved in throughout his adult life. Medoff began his own pest control business and through it, became highly involved with what became Cook College. Also active in pest control trade organizations, Medoff used his knowledge, savvy, and connections to help influence New Jersey state politicians. Medoff was also very influential in the lives of his neighbors, taking active roles in the local Boy Scouts...

Abstract:
These records were compiled by Drs. Susan Ford and John Kraeuter at Rutgers University's Haskin Shellfish Research Lab in Port Norris, New Jersey. They were loaned to Dr. Melbourne R. Carriker (1915-2007), as he documented the history of the National Shellfisheries Association (N.S.A.) from its beginnings into the early 21st Century. The book Carriker wrote was entitled Taming of the Oyster: A History of Evolving Shellfisheries and the National Shellfisheries Association....

Abstract:
The records of the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Stations in New Brunswick consist of material from the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station and the College Experiment Station . The records date from the period 1889-1962, with the bulk of the material from the period 1916-1933. The records are contained in three series: Minutes and Reports, Administrative Files, and Research Notes.
